Everett Silvertips Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert announced Monday that the Ontario Hockey League’s Soo Greyhounds will be joining the Everett Silvertips, Portland Winterhawks, Tri-City Americans, Seattle Thunderbirds and Spokane Chiefs at the annual Holiday Inn Pre-Season Classic, held over Labor Day Weekend from September 3 – 5 at Comcast Arena.

Comcast Arena at Everett opened its doors Friday, March 5 through Sunday, March 7 for the Everett Home & Garden Show, Snohomish County’s largest and longest running home and remodeling show now in its seventh year. “Great exhibits. Terrific attendance. This is what made our Everett Home & Garden Show for 2010 such a success,” commented Jim Ashe, President of Westlake Promotion Inc. “Leaving the economic frustration in the dust, the exhibitors made a special effort to present their very best, and they did. Washington Stealth Presents “Pink in the Rink Night” March 27

The Washington Stealth will be hosting “Pink in the Rink Night” at the Comcast Arena at Everett when they take on the Colorado Mammoth on Saturday, March 27 at 7:30pm. The Stealth will be wearing special edition pink helmets that will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds going to the Puget Sound branch of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

As millions of fans count down the days until the March 23 release of his second album, MY WORLD 2.0, platinum-selling pop singing sensation Justin Bieber announced his first headlining tour of North America. The “My World” Tour, presented by AEG Live and featuring Sean Kingston as special guest, will be rolling through Everett on July 13 to perform at the Comcast Arena at Everett.

Sesame Street Live is proud raise the curtain for the thirtieth season, and will present its one-hundredth tour when the stage lights come up on “1-2-3 Imagine! with Elmo & Friends”. The show plays the Comcast Arena at Everett Friday, May 7 through Sunday, May 9. Tickets for all performances go on sale Friday, March 19 at 10 am.

Washington Stealth star forward, Rhys Duch was named to Team Canada’s final 24-man roster yesterday. Team Canada will look to defend their 2006 gold medal at the 2010 World Field Lacrosse Championships in Manchester, England this summer.

National Lacrosse League Moves to Comcast Arena at Everett

After six seasons in San Jose, Calif., the Stealth professional indoor lacrosse team has announced their plans to relocate to the Comcast Arena at Everett. The Stealth, a member of the National Lacrosse League, are coming off a 2009 campaign in which they advanced to the West Division Finals before being ousted by the eventual NLL Champion, Calgary Roughnecks.
